I am buying a p28 ecu with a s200 hondata. It is used and guy says everything is working. How can i test the ecu or know that it is good? Do i unplug my ecu and put the one i am buying in it>? Thanks if anyone would help that would be great.

 

depends on the chip. if it is similar to your setup you may be able to get away with trying it like that.

 

he said that he used hondata on the ecu would it make my car run funny when i plug it in? I am going to get it tuned anyways but would that interfere with me know if it is ok? or even though it would be tuned it should still run right?
