How different are the front ends on the 96-98 Civics from the 99-00. I have a 99-00 front end on my 96. I bought it from a friend. I'm trying to put the bumper stiffeners back into the car, but the screws in the sides of the bumper into the fender are off. I have the drivers side screw in but the passenger side is about a 1/2" off. What kind of fabrication is needed? Thanks!

 

right behind the liscense plate there is a black box im not sure what it does but its there i had to trim that down to fit my 99 bumper and thats it the rest fit fine.

 

To properly do a 99-00 front end conversion to a 96-98 you have to get the following items from a 99-00
Hood
both fenders
front bumper

do a search this has been covered many times

 

Have Scott fabricate a custom bumper stiffener? Just throwing out ideas homie.
