I'm bout to replace my pcv valve and just wanna make sure i got this right..

1.remove valve cover
2.do i just pull out the pcv and put the new one in? I just picked the valve from the Honda dealership, should it be a pastic L shape?
3.replace valve cover gasket

its ok we were all once there. take a good look at your engine bay and you'll see it. look around your manifold.

What year and engine?

You don't need to remove the valve cover to replace the PCV valve. It's generally plugged into a rubber grommet in the oil breather chamber. Follow the hose from the intake manifold to locate it.

Ok, turns out im a dumbass...i was just overcomplicating things...I need to wait till i get some hosing tomorrow. Turns out that whomever had the car before me cut the line coming from pcv valve to the manifold then just plugged the end with a 10mm tag bolt. I had to replace the dipstick b/c anytime I ran it and the turbo got anywhere near 5lbs of boost it would blow it out and spray oil. The new dipstick stays in, but I know it doesn't fix the problem, which is the excess blow back. The catch can I'm orderin will take care of that, but I did figure out what was wrong after looking ALOT closer. I do appreciate the help tho!!!
