dirty fuel? plugs fouled? wires need replacing? you said it's hard to start, basically when cold in the morning. i would guess that maybe the fuel filter needs replaced. when was the last time you did a complete tune up?

possibly a fuel pump yes. but a man relay? from my experience, they show no signs of going bad, they just **** all at once. its like a fuse almost. no signs of future blowing, it just all of a sudden goes.

I was having the same problem with my ZC, but I just threw a b16a in and it all went away. But I am curious to find out what was actually causing it, I was thinking it had something to do with the spark timing being a little off.

Interesting. Do it and tell us if that fixes it. I guess it makes sense. It probably failed and is stuck saying the motor is hot so the ecu doesn't supply enough fuel to start up the bone cold motor. After the motor heats up the ecu is giving the motor the right amount of fuel and it'll start and run fine. Sweet.
