My bay is lookin a little empty and plain. Has anybody tried any of the password JDM powerchamber intakes? If so, what are your thoughts on them?

i was going to get one but had to much negative feedback on them.....not that they suck or anything just cost alot and performance wise they are about average is what i kept getting told...... im still gonna re locate my battery and get one though i think they look nice

 

A tuned length intake will make just as much if not more horsepower. If you want a bling factor, then go for it.

 

same here, my battery is relocated and it just looks empty. That intake looks really good, even if it doesnt perform really well. Its not like you get a whole lot of power out of any other aftermarket intake anyways.

 

i dont know if its really a "bling" factor..... but i do think it looks badass and just takes up otherwise empty space.

 

so what kind of bad things did you hear about it?

 

I just installed an AEM hybrid intake last night on my CRX. The fit,finish, quality was outstanding. The 3 inch aluminum tube should flow pretty good.

 

nothing really bad. i was just told that for the price you pay it really doesnt deliever the extra power that you might think it does. like the guy said its more for the "BLING" factor then anything else but it does its job of being an aftermarket intake. its all about what you want/like thats all that counts anyways

 

so do you think they should fit all b series motors?

 

do you have pictures of it after the install?

 

i have 2 of them. worth every penny in my opinion. huge difference on my y8 ek sedan,now i have another on to throw on my semi-built LS/V

 

so which one would i want to get if i have a b20b in a crx? Are they pretty much universal or what?

 

For a crx no matter what swap will be EG/EK. all swaps except K. you may have to move the proportioning valve a little because it fits kind of tight
