Default A few small problems with my 96

So this is a pretty old car with a few minors problems so I was just wondering if anybody here knows a simple fix or something not too complex to these problems:

1. Speedometer doesn't always work.. this is completely random. Sometimes it does, others it doesn't.

2. Power locks also randomly work for only doors on the car's left side. The rear right side's door makes a really weird whirling noise when I try to lock or unlock all doors either on the inside or on my remote.

3. My rear bumper is about a half inch lower than where its suppose to be. The holes for the screws looks to be stripped but even when its pushed up and aligned it's still lower than where its suppose to be. I could get a picture if you guys don't know what I'm talking about lol.

Anyway, these are some of the most common problems I'm having with my car. If anybody could help me with them that would be great.

Thanks a lot!

check your alarm wiring, most shops hack the harness to peices when they install an alarm

Well actually your speedometer problem is either cause your VSS is bad or your cluster is no good.. Is the check engine light on?? As for your locks its your lock actuators that are goin out. Problem just old and worn out. Have the same problem on one door of my 94. They aren't to expensive..

sadly my bumper does the same. and im pretty sure the only way to really fix this is to get a new bumper. somehow pressure from putting stuff in the trunk or people sittin on the trunk with there feet on the bumper has somewhat warped it so even when its up where its supposed to be it still sags like an old lady

or i guess you could try and creating new holes for the bumper screws higher up at a place where your bumper looks right

the speed sensor is located on the transmission and may be malfuctioning causing your speedometer to **** up. its usually pretty simple to change just one bolt holding it in and it should slide right out. of course if this isn't workin properly it will also affect your a/c causing your car to overheat.

No my check engine light is not on. Everything else with the car is in great shape. Never any engine problems or anything.

And my A/C is also working fine and the engine is always running on the cool side of the engine temp guage.
