Lightweight Flywheel is in, now how do i check my ignition timing????

Default Lightweight Flywheel is in, now how do i check my ignition timing????

got a 96 h23 in a 94 prelude (swapped the 96 back to OBD1) i got a light weight flywheel so now the timing marks are not there. how do i check my ignition timing? boost doesnt like advanved timing...

i have a JUN flywheel and i have the marks...what kind of flywheel did you get?

i think its the lightened stock. so says some webpages. and if u recall the part that they grind off has the mark on it.

If the flywheel has just one mark, TDC, you can check the timing with an advancing timing gun. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure you are SOL.

I have the ACT flywheel too. I have no idea if it has timing marks. I hope the installer did it right....

And yes it is a 15 lb stock lightened unit.

yo the ACT is just a stock one lightened. so they grounded off our ****** marks! ****!!

LOL! How much did it cost you?

I don't believe I have timing marks on my 8lb CM flywheel as well? Or am I not looking hard enough?

yep. i have one of the original fidanza flywheels, and. . . no timing marks. i called and told them this, and they said 'gosh. too bad.' so i had to make my own. look at your cam gears, find TDC, and take a long screwdriver and lightly tap the flywheel, and it will make a small mark you can use for timing. worked for me.

no they are not there, but you can line up the flywheels and paint a couple lines in different colors for timing marks.
