Default Question on Rear disk conversion

I have a 95 civic DX with drum brakes and would like to make them all disk brakes. I have tried to search for a thread about this but could not find one. So if I am repeating a thread I do apologize. I would just like to know if it is difficult to change to disks in the rear and if so how much? Thanks again if anyone has some tips for me.

well you could do the entire swing arm like most people do.
or you can get brackets like these:

you would need the proportioning valve and master cylinder out of an integra though.
dont know too much about the specifics but im sure someone would chime in and give their input.

you don't need the mc, or prop valve. the stock components are fine

I mean if you have access to them cheap and within reach I would do it but I've had 3 eks with this swap and only one had the mc, and proportioning valve, it made little if any difference. Just make sure you get non abs components seeing as youre dx doesn't have abs

ok what you need is rear trailing arms from a 94-01 Integra if your going to a junk yard i would grab those and the front calipers also. and if you can find a 40/40 prop valve use that too.. but mine worked fine on my 95 ex and all those parts came off of a ABS Integra. The 4040 was not though. i just took the sensors out. home this helps also there is a dyi i used

yeah the actual brakes don't matter if they're abs or not just cut the sensors but the other stuff wont work
