I've just been looking at the amazon.co.jp website and it would appear than you can order any of their stock and have it shipped all over the world (just as you can with amazon.com) I've gone as far as entering my Name and Address in the UK and up to the payment point and it appears to be possible to use a Mastercard/Visa card for payment (I stopped then). Has anyone every tried getting hold of these videos/books/dvds etc this way ?

i finally got my copy of

last week.

Shows alot of old ITR vs CTR races, BUT w/ a twist. You can select various angles and can even goto one incar to the other incar while they are racing

Just make sure you can play the japanese DVDs. The region codes is suck

I have orderd stuff from Amazon Germany. Fortunately I can read German, so it made it easier. I bought some CD's, use my regular ole Mastercard, and they arrived at my door like 3 weeks later. Even had some Gummi Bears in the package!

It worked perfectly. When i got my Mastercard bill, there was a charge from amazon.com.de, and a conversion exhange rate, Euros to Dollars.

I wasn't positive I'd actually get the stuff, but it did show up! I see no reason why it wouldn't work for Japan!

 

I was surprised when I ordered my first set of BM vid's from Amazon.com that my amazon.co.uk account worked ! I've ordered two sets one was sent to a colleage in Redmond WA where it just so happend that another colleage was on his way back to the UK . The another I had sent straigh to the UK it only too 6 days to arrive !

 

Just got the book in the post today. It's big and full of pictures etc. I'll have a good look later but first impressions are that it's worth the 20 pounds - it's easily bigger than 4 magazines

 

OK so who fancies translating some of this for me There a loads of pics of parts etc. and some apparently interesting articles - I just need to start getting some of it translated Would some japanese OCR software and bable fish do the trick
