Default Been at the Dyno lately. Topic. Skunk 2 Type 2 and 3. CAMS

I have to say, the Skunk Type 2's work pretty well, almost exactly the same as JUN 3's.

I don't know how they compare to Skunk 3's. But I know this.

A member from this board bought a motor from me. He expected 220+ WHP because he paid for it.

But we ended up with 238 WHP 153 Torque. With the stage 3's.

You might know the member. His signature says 2.0 liter Type-R. Its all Type-R.

It peaks about like 9200 RPM? Around 9k. Pulls hard and flat all the way to 10k RPM.

I wish I could post the graph, I will soon. The floppy drive on my computer is broken. Anybody want to help me fix it! damn thing won't work!

okie delokie, or whatever.

Everyone knows what the mtoor has in it:

Import Builders Package 3. Expensive, yes. But does it make the power?

yes.

I WISH I could upload the graph. But my floppy drive is broke. And its on disk.

We have another graph to post too, another package 3. That one made 236 WHP, with Skunk type 2's and JUn type 3's. Same graph with both cams.

IB "Killer" block
IB "Killer" head
SMSP header, of course.
When you guys see the graph, you will like it. It pulls hard past 9k like nothing.

Jeff

The 236 car ran 12.1 at battle sand bagging. The car has no cage and he didn't want to get sent home. This car is will run mid 11's soon. The motor is getting the wiseco pistons isntalled this week and we expect 10 more horsepower. This is a true street car.

The 238 car should run 11's with the proper weight reductions.

The owners of these cars are serious about All motor performance and do what it takes to make numbers.

DAMN,
looks like all importbuilders employees run 11's in daily drivers(one with AC)
TREVER, 10hp gain from those pistons? let him know he needs to switch the crank first...
