P29 pistons suit my Civic? help please
Dear friends i have a 2006 model ES7 chassis sedan Civic 1.6 L, its engine code is known as D16V1 (also D16W7).
Its power 110 hp (81 kW) @ 5600 rpm and torque (15.5 kg/m, 152 Nm) @ 4300 rpm
The mod's in my car are Simota AeroForm CAI, DC Race 4-2-1 Header, 51mm mid pipe with silencer and a sport rear muffler. They gave 128 hp on dyno.
I want to increase its Compression Ratio by using P29 (P7M) pistons. The P29's are from the D16A1. Thats the first gen integra.
Does the P29 pistons fit in my car? I desprately look forward to hearing from you, since i didn't any information from the internet.
Thanks in advance.

The best places for d series info are http://d-series.org and http://onecamonly.com.
As far as I know the d16v1 is basically the exact same head as the D17a2.
Going by that it'll have the same 35.8cc combustion cc in the head, with a d16 block and stock deck heigh tit should be around 11.35:1 compression with P29's which is supurb.
What I cant tell you is what sort of clearances you will have but its a good start, you should really test fit the pistons and clay them to check for head interference and that the valve pockets line up ok with your valves. I'm sure it will be fine but you still have to check.
here play around with this, I found it very helpful whan i was making my dohc ZC head d16a6. http://www.zealautowerks.com/dseries.html
