Kid is trying to Type-R his civic hatch. He already got the front seats from another ITR owner that put in the JDM seats. He wants my guage cluster and told me too find the price of the JDM or one I wanted and thats how much he would buy mine for. I don't know why he wouldn't just buy a new one but whatever. Is it worth the hassle if I could get him to pick up the tab on a spoon one? How would my miles transfer over because I don't want any odometer/warranty issues to arise?

Oh and could someone post up a larger pic of the spoon cluster if they have one.
you miles wont xfer over. I doubt they'll do warranty work on it since the mileage can't be verified either.
Tell him I have a JDM ITR one for sale, $250 shipped.

Good enough answer for me. My cluster is just fine. I was just toying with the idea more or less to help him out. That and the fact that the Spoon one is over $700.

.....not if you ever want to sell the car.
But on the other hand: if you calculate how many miles you have now into KM, then roll the new cluster up to that amount it shouldn't matter.
I'd go with a spoon cluster only for more accuracy on the tach... not worth upgrading imho for the $, but if he's paying.....

However, check your local DOT, they might allow you to change clusters if it's documented with them, which might make acura stand by the 50K warranty with the DOT evidence.. not sure, just a wild guess but worth a try I suppose.
If he wants a JDM ITR cluster, you know where to send him right?
I would never buy a car with a swapped cluster. Neither would 99%+ of potential buyers I would guess.
JDM ITR clusters can be had for $150 on EBay.

IF you want a Spoon cluster I was at JDMHONDAPARTS last monday and they had one in the display case with only 6KM on it only. REMEMBER these are not being made anymore
