Default DRL relay... again

im terribly bad at DIY so a few questions

first question: i know its "under the carpet passenger side" but where exactly? Behind that metal plate thing? Left or Right side?

second question: i have the site that tells you how to fix it when you have it out ( http://www.nyx.net/~smanley/hondadrlfix/ ) but how do you tell which ones are in need of repair?

finally: is flux or kester 44 the only solder you can use? if so where do i find it?

Yes i know im a total noob when it comes to this but any help is appriciated.

is this for an accord? 4th Gen's dont have DRL's unless you wired them up yourself.

Any sort of solder should be fine. I would recommend using a low wattage soldering iron so you don't damage any components by accident. And I am pretty sure the relay is under the metal plate right next to the ECU.

Every car sold in Canada since 1990 has been required to have DRL's. I honestly don't see why the U.S. hasn't followed suit. Every time I drive down there at night there's always a couple of idiots driving around at night with their lights off.

I'm not sure, I would just look for the ones that look like they have less solder on them then the other ones and start there.

Sorry I made a mistake before, the location of the relay according to the service manual is not next to the ECU, but down by the interior fuse box.

#11 in the picture. And even if the instructions are for an accord, the soldering steps are the same.

Because America is freakin' retarded when it comes to logic? We have our "morals" supposedly in the right place, but no sense what-so-ever to go along with them..
Why do you think we have worse emission standards than other parts of the world? Because we can't do it right? Don't have the technology for it..? -_-
