I have searched and havent found a list of items for a rebuild. Here is my situation. I just bought an 00 GSR motor and going to swap it into my EK. I dont trust anything the person said so My first step would be to find out how to test the compressions. Then a list of what I need to replace on the motor. I keep hearing gaskets but what and which ones? Here is a list of what i am going to do. All new fluids, wires, cap, rotor bit, plugs, timing belt, tensioner, water pump, clutch, flywheel. Basically a tune up. I keep hearing about gaskets and seals but dont know which or what they are called. If I can get some help on a list i would appreciate it. My whole goal is to put this motor into my car and not have to worry about it for a while. I dont plan on boosting or doing anything drastic just ssome basic bolt ons. I know for the water pump/timing everyone recommends OEM and thats what i will get but what about the other items? Also if you know a good place I will start there. Thanks!
