Default Do you think its the harness or what?

Alright here is my problem. I recently purchased 93 hatch with a d15b swap. The car had 2 CEL whichs was codes 1(O2) and 14(iacv) but the car still ran fine, just with a little bit of idle issue.

Now today, I was driving the car and it started to hesistate about 2 times then it went back to normal. Then after about another 15 min of driving it started to do it real bad so I pulled over, and the car goes dead. CEL came on and it was codes 10(IAC),20(Electrical overload), and 6(water temp sensor).

So I decided to get a tow truck and tow it back home. After I got it home I tried checking all of those codes out, alternator, fuse box and everything seems fine...the car turns over, after trying to crank it a couple of times, there was a burning smell coming from the ECU and it was smoking, I checked the Cabin harness out and it appears to be hacked up,crimped with connectors, black tape etc...by previous owner

My guess is that the harness has came loose somewhere in the cabin harness from it being hacked up and taped up by the previous owner. And I think there is a short some where and something is grounding itself and causing it to throw those codes.

Im pulling the dash off tomorrow to check but, what do you guys/gals think it is?

TIA!
