definitely a possibility. no true car guy wants to buy a "universal" part. they want to buy the exact part for their exact engine. so even if 2 parts are EXACTLY the same, they will list them as 2 completely different parts with different part numbers so that more people will feel better about buying it. all it costs the distributor is the extra advertising(they sneeze and lose more money) and their system showing that when either of those parts is ordered, they will be found on the same shelf.
