Icon3 timing issue/confusion

ok so i took the head off my motor and replaced the valves after my timing belt slipped and bent a few of them now i'm wondering how do i set everything on the head to match the block so when i attach the two they line up so when i start it they dont screw up again? i'm kinda of illiterate as far as terminology so i dont even know what top dead center is or anything. so if anyone has an answer for me please try to explain it very specifically in graphic detail. thank you very much.

on the H23A1 twin cam engine they have marks on the pulley and even says up when these are both up at there upmost the cams are at top dead center for no 1 cylinder you will also see a line marked that points to a tooth when the cams are rotated 90 degrees these lines should both be level with the top of the cylinder head therefore in every 90 degrees you can do valve clearance and the clearance is .003 to .004 thou for inlet and .006 to .007 thou for exhaust which also is best to set at cold and I cant remember the order but the valve set that is at top dead center for the cylinder the lobes on the cam will be pointing away from center of the motor the 4 90 degree turns will cover the 4 cylinder valve4 sets hope this helps best of luck from Sydney Australia
Have a good day and I

I would definitely invest in a full service manual for your car. Read through the procedure for doing a cylinder head swap and then come back and ask questions if you have any. The manual is going to be your best source of information as compared to people writing extremely long run-on sentences...

manual will definitely help. if you dont want to do the labor, AND a valve adjustment is all you need, have honda do it.

in California, it typically costs $120~~ to have this done. GL my friend!
