It's easy.

Disconnect the battery, remove the air box and tube, yank the starter. Take out BOTH axles (I actually pulled the PS, and just popped the DS out by taking the lower ball joint apart.) From underneath, drain the trans fluid, disconnect the shifter rods, take the plastic splash gurd off, remove the aluminum brace, and the clutch splash shield. Take out the one large bolt right above the DS shaft, and the two that hold the trans to the rear mount. Put a jack and a block of wood under the oil pan. Jack it up snug. Back up top, pull the clutch slave cylinder (you don't have to disconnect the hydraulic lines, and DON'T PUSH THE CLUTCH, or you will blow up the slave cylinder.) Remove all of the trans bolts holding the trans to the engine block. Also, remove the PS trans mount, and the front trans mount. At this point the engine is sittin on the jack. Get under it, slowly lower the engine/trans combo with a hand on the trans. It took two pry bars to break mine apart, but it eventually came apart. I got mine out with one hand, it weighs about 65 lbs or so. That's it.... Re-assemble backwards.

Quick and easy.
