i'm looking for springs to lower my 99 civic lx sedan. i have chosen 2 one that will lower my car by 1.5 then theres another set that will lower my car 2.5 that are cheaper... any problems of serious bottoming with 2.5? or should i be alright?

 

you will be fine with 2.5, just becarefull. 2.5 isnt that low, it should just put the tire at the fender

 

Be prepare to buy aftermarket shocks while your at it,do it right the first time.

 

i wont be able to get shocks till just a few months after springs are installed. alignments are no problem i can get them done at school or work. would i need shocks that bad with having lowered the car 2.5"?

 

you would need to change your struts after a few months. if your oem ones arent blow yet they will with the springs.
