Icon3 Car Audio Security ideas/help??!!

Hey guys,
I have been reading many posts and there are a lot of knowledgeable people and ideas in this forum, and so I was wondering if I could get some inspiration. I have a 2001 civic 4-door standard, it is going for an alarm install this thursday (it's a base viper 1-way alarm w/ shock sensor etc). Now, I have a double din clarion touch screen in the dash and 2 12'' subs in the trunk with the topline clarion DPX-series amp. Now, this is all the replacement from iunsurance of my last system, which was stolen from my car about 7 months ago. I know I will have the alarm, but it is a daily driver and i do park places to go downtown every day, and so I need to be able to leave my car without fear that my stuff will be stolen for a second time. For the trunk, I will be disabling the driver side opening device, making the trunk only open with the car key or the alarm remote acc button. I have also made a semi-custom trunk layout with a 3/4'' MDF floor, with the amp underneath it and a thick piece of plexiglass showing it off. I will screw the sub box from underneath the floor, and put two locks on the removable panel that i have made to give access to the amplifier (and spare tire which is just above it under my "fake" floor). But for my dash, I really do not want it stolen again, and even with an alarm I feel like someone might break in and grab the center bezel like they did last time if they see it. I have been taking the entire center bezel out and hiding it in the trunk when i leave for the day, but i would liike an easier alternative. I was thinking of making a small cover that fits right over the touch screen radio, but since it will still have the shape, i am not convinced that thiefs will see past the cover....what do you think about my current "defence" plan, and does anyone have an idea how I can protect/hide my in-dash screen and prevent my car from being broken into again? Thanks alot for your help guyz, and please no bashing etc....
P.S. Kudos to all the em2's up in here and their incredible build threads. Really inspiring. I can only hope to have my EM2 compare to those up on here one day. Props to the k20 guyz. **** rocks!!

ok so to shorten what i wrote up top since nobody seems to want to read it...,
I was wondering if anyone had an idea OTHER THAN AN ALARM (which will be getting installed on my car this week), about how to hide or protect my HEAD unit in order to not get broken into again. I feel like any car alarm would not suffice. I was thinking making a cover to fit over the head unit (double din touch). Any other ideas?

and to add, i have looked through the car security section b4 making this thread, mostly for preventing stealing the car, no intelligent ideas on hiding/protecting double din head units from being snatched. thx 4 the help.

you could allways make a dummy face to cover the aftermarket radio in your car. Many do it this way. A alarm is not going to stop a smash and grab theft. But most of the time it can prevent one.

thanks wrx-killer, I was thinking of putting a dummy face as well, i figure if the screen is not directly visible the thiefs are a lot less likely to try and break in since they don't know forsure whats undernerath. Have you heard of anyone using a dummy-face on their screens? and has it been working for them? thanks for the update.
