Default D16y8 vs skunk2 intake manifold

So is there that big of a difference in the stock d16y8 intake manifold and the skunk2 intake manifold?

i have heard many people in the past say that there isn't that much difference and for what you pay for you are better off buying some other type of bolt on.

x2. That goes for pretty much any bolt on for a D16. You'll end up spending way too much money for marginal increases. The only way you'd get more power is to boost the motor or swap it out for a B series.

i had a intake mainy skunk2 with a 64mm bbk throttal on a 2000 ex it made a big diffrance i felt more power all the way from like 3k to redline.. and it made vtec sound AWSOME...... loud real loud hahah

i had a blox intake manifold on my z6 and it deff. kills bottom end power...also bigger throttle body's on sohc are worthless. Just stay with the y8 manifold.

not worth it. spend the money on a port & polish instead and a B-series 60mm throttle body.

if your na you dont need it, if boost is in the picture or future get a blox one cheaper and the same thing as skunk.
