Default anyone ever raise a civic before?

I would like to raise my 91 civic hatch about 2 in. anyone ever do this before with just coilovers or springs. its going to be runnign through the woods, so no making fun, only serious inquires. i imagine the biggest prolem will be the articulation of the cv-joints.

i would assume that coilovers jacked up would work pretty good. just watch your axle angles. i would also assume that noone has ever done this before at least your not lifting it for dubs,

You may want to look at coil expanders or shims. I know like Advance/Auto Zone used to sell them where you put what almost looks like a C-Clamp in between your coils and it lifts it, I don't remember how much, just remembering seeing this for like tow vehicles n whatnot, but will work with any coil spring application.

Installing integra springs and shocks will raise the car.

is that a real picture? or was it photochopped? because, the rear tire on that thing, is in the water, but not wet. just curious. and why would you have to convert to drums? i've seen trucks with huge tires on them, not necessarily with tractor tires, but still. disc brakes would still work. wheel spacers anyone?

You would want to use the springs and shocks from the heaviest civic or integra, my guess would be one of the DC2 integras.

that is awesome, yeah let me know what he says, or if i can get ahold of him to ask him some q's. i have about 150acres to plan on and it is already prepped for quads/dirtbikes. ill just have to make the trails a lil wider and make some creek crossings out of logs/cinder block

the car obviously wont be driven on the street this way if anyone is wondering.

How much of a raise do you want? If you put stock DA (90-93 Integra) springs and shocks it'll raise it an inch or two.

i would put spacers between the strut cap and strut tower. but even with lengthened studs you can only go so think. just like the leveling kits for 4wd trucks.

What about accord struts and springs? They should lift more than integras yes? Aleast the springs will, im not sure if the struts would fit though.
