Icon6 D15z1 Vx Hatchback

With purchasing a Vx model hatchback not long ago ive had sum fun with it. Heres my problem. Not sure whether i should or i CAN do the internals on the motor (240,000 miles !!!) or do internals then boost or just do a swap. Been lookin at the b16 and b18 again just not sure. the car hasnt givin me any problems so far. I just heard on the d15z1 motor the just boost and motor = boom cuz it runs to lean?

The D15Z1 is an economy engine. If you want power, then you need to do a swap. Seriously now, it's a 92hp engine. And yes, the D15Z1 does run lean at low rpms, that's how it gets better gas mileage. Even if you swap it for another D-series engine, that would be a far better idea.
