R35 GTR, R32 Golf and Fortune FD
A friend is using an R35 GTR as a demo car atm, so I met with him to take some photos and get a ride in it. (On the way too his house I was following another GTR!)
FAST.
Silly fast. The gearchanges only take a split second so once its boosting it doesnt stop. It was a strange sensation to be constantly pinned in your seat - it felt like the G-forces were increasing as it got faster, the first car I have ridden in that seemed like the rate of acceleration increased as it's speed increased. Pretty awesome machine
Saying that (from the perspective of being a passenger), the car looked uninvolved to drive. I just cant get into these tiptronic/flappy paddle things. Yes, I know they're faster, but they seem so uninvolved. Also, the car was so planted it just seemed like you put your foot down and pointed it where you wanted to go. No particular skill was required to drive it at speed. A good thing and a bad thing. I think my mum could put in some good track times with this car! Compared to his other R33 which has similar power, this one is a lot more driveable, and a lot faster as a result. If your overall goal is track times, this is a weapon, but I cant help but feel that as a road car it would get boring after a while.
Im not into the whole Veilside thing so I won't really chat about it too much. Needs better wheel fitment regardless.
I was hanging out the back of the R32 on lambo wheels. (IIRC now running about 312bhp. Good little car)
Overall the R35 is an awesome car, but I'd love a 6spd version. Anyway, pics:

My boss has a GTR and on Saturday he took me out on a "scenic tour". That car is unbelievable. Insanely fast, but you can't tell. VERY impressive.
Nice shots too!
