do you want a performance cat?
if not, just buy a OEM cat from honda.
or check out the honda-tech market place

No.
When you go to Majestic Honda to browse their catalog, when selecting your car you must put "KL___" instead of "KA____"
KA is 49 US States, KL is California.

The KL catalytic converter is supposedly different.

Oh, so those will pass?

I researched on it for someone before and found out that they are not C.A.R.B. approved.

If they'll work, OP, you should get one. Here's the link to a good deal.

magnaflow has 49 state which is a NO NO for california but they also have California Approved which DOES come with a Carb# stampped on the bottom...u just have to find the California approved one...i was told this by the state ref. that they ARE LEGAL just the California OBD2 approved ones

here is the one i use to pass Bar with http://www.car-sound.com/02product/d...niversal=46034

its for an Acura but im pretty sure you can use that for your SI

his PDF file shows u that the 46000 series magnaflow cats for OBD2 approved for california is ok to use on Hondas

Any luck? I'm looking for the same thing but nowhere sells them. I went to a couple of muffler shops and they said they don't sell any 99 si cats either. I think I have to check the dealerships next.
