what tranny is this?
found a random transmission in the back of my shop thats been there a while...honestly cant remember...
numbers start with s20.
if you need the rest, let me know.
I'm thinking its a manual hydro d-series tranny that was behind a 95 d16z6 but honestly cant remember.

all 92-95 manual civics have s20's in them. S20 is the case number. What you need to look for is on the passenger side, above the axle, there is a stamping, it will either start with a B then some zero's, or a A then some zero's. If its a B, its a ex/si trans, if its a A, its a dx, cx, vx.
I either check that, or the other letterings, y4f is a ex, j8b is a cx/vx, and i forget the dx..
other wise, s20 dont mean ****.
