My car is SLOW.. lol. Put my b16a1 in my crx.. now slower??
Put my b16a1 in my crx. Took it out of my ef hatch. I know this post is a little long but please read!!!!
I took my intake manifold off and took everything off it and cleaned it and painted it and put a hondata intake manifold gasket on when put back on motor.. Took my fuel rail off and the fuel pressure regulator off and cleaned the fuel rail then painted it.. I put a used 7LB Fidanza flywheel on it. Also changed up my header and it has a smaller outlet then before.. I have an S1 integra LS transmission thats slowing me down but that was on the EF hatch and it was never this slow.. I have a ZYDYNE chipped one wire vtec ecu that I THINK might be messing up? Supposed to hit vtec at 5100 and im hittin it at all different rpms in different gears. between 5800 and 6000.. I noticed i had my timing advanced and it was hitting at 5800 then when i turned the disty back it started hitting at 6000?? WHAT IN THE WORLD is wrong with the car? I put a jdm b16 ecu that was chipped in my car and it RAN GREAT.. but was STILL SLOWWW.. was super slow then.. But my rough idle had cleared up and it ran good.. Maybe i have more then one thing wrong here? Someone please help me!? Id appreciate it

Set your timing back to stock, run a stock ECU. If your're still obd0 your new header is probably putting the 02 sensor too far back.
a bad tune will definately make your car run poorly. With the mods you have there is no reason not to run a stock b16 map on your ECU or just run a stock pw0 or pr3 ECU.
Also if you DO run a stock ECU you want to use both 02 sensors and install them on your header 8-10 inches down from the head on cylinders 1 and 3, or 2 and 4

There is no cel's.. I think i wired everything right?? Theres nothing to it really.. i have one wire vtec so one wire from solenoid to a8 on ecu.. all the disty wires had been cut on the harness and i had to solder all them back together again.. I have everything right im sure.. almost positive. Its a CRX HF so i had to repin all the wires on the driver side connector and run the ignitor wire from there to the disty because on every other chasis harness the ignitor wire comes out of the passenger sidee connector and goes to the disty. Everything should be rite..

Im interested in your clutch situation.. did you use the clutch disk and pressure plate that was with your 'new' used flywheel? b/c I was under the impression that you werent supposed to mix-n-match clutch components due to the way they wear (with out resurfacing them at least) on the other hand you were talking about bogging if I read correctly? so that might make my 2¢ non-relevant.. good luck either way
thanks alot. yea Im buying a jdm b16 ecu later today from a friend.. its chipped though and hits vtec at 4500, Im going to set my timing back to the way its supposed to be then go from there.. if that doesnt help maybe it has sumthing to do with my aftermarket fuel pressure regulator?? or maybe I wired something up wrong? Im still using my resistor box too, but i was before too and my car ran great.
how much fuel pressure are you running now? I would throw the stock fpr back on and see how it runs, maybe your running too rich...check your plugs and see how they look too
