Default does transmission x fit with motor y

does the L3- 6 speed wagon rt-4wd transmission bell housing swap up with the d16zc, the wagons were powered by a d16a6 and i know the z6 swaps to the wagon tranny, does the zc swap up like the others? i would asume it would...

there is no 'D16ZC' engine - the 88-91 JDM DOHC OBD0 1.6 engine and the 92-95 JDM DOHC OBD1 1.6 engine are both designated simply 'ZC' and will bolt to the 4wd wagon transmission - the European DOHC 1.6 designated 'D16A8', 'D16A9' or 'D16Z5' will also bolt right up - the JDM SOHC ZC engines will also bolt to the transmission - the 86-89 USDM Integra DOHC 1.6 engine designated 'D16A1' will not bolt directly to the 4wd wagon, but can be modified to work

the 4wd wagon transmission uses an intermediate shaft and equal length axles which are different from all of the other 88-91 axles

so basically, any of the popular d series motors (and the zc) will bolt up

thanks for clerifying this.


when i was working on my wagon today i noticed that there was a intermediate/half shaft and i happened to notice my crx axles were un even.
