so i have an 01 em2, with a fm transmitter for my ipod and it sucks. so ive realized i need to get a direct connection. first of all, is there an aux input in the back of the stock cd player or any other way without having to get a new cd player?
if not, what are some good aftermarket cd players where i can plug my ipod into the face? i dont need anything super nice, i just want something that will work good and not break.
any opinions would be appreciated, thanks.

 

they sell ipod adapters so that you can usb your ipod to the stock radio but i would just get a aftermarket deck that is ipod compatible

i have a alpine deck CDA-9884 that has a direct connection in the back and i love it

 

get an aftermarket, I got a kenwood with a usb in the back and freakin love! The one with the usb, I think is better to because theres no radio static either.

 

Hey EM2 08, I am really interested in getting the USB interface for the stockheadunit. I don't care how much it is. It's just that I don't want to risk thieves. I been searching and searching and I can't come up with a USB interface for the stock headunit. I can only find an AUX interface. HON 98 but other than that your suggestion for a USB interface for the stock headunit is very desirable. Please post up a link where i can buy it, Thank you greatly.
