I broguht one of those red stitching shift boot, and i can't seem to take apart my center console in my itr. I mean... i used to own a Crx Si special edition and i can take that interior apart in 3 seconds, but i am having a hard time with my itr. Can someone show me are send me a pic or two on how i can change my shift boot?? Thanks!

 

pop cover off under Ebrake and unscrew those screws. take out ash tray and get those screws inside there. Then there is a screw on each side near the footwell that needs to be taken off. unpug ciggarette lighter adapter thingy and pull out. changing shift boot is jsut a matter of unscrewing more screws..

u forgot the screws on the rear of the console I think there are either 2 or 4 I forgot

There are 4 screws there but you only need to remove the 2 most rear screws.

Removing the ashtray/lighter assembly will reveal 2 more screws which hold the center console in place.
