Default Will any B series header work with a b17 gsr?

Will any B series header such as GSR, ITR, or b16 fit a b17 Gsr motor? are there any differences in the oil pan?

you need a gsr header. the b16 header only fits with the b16. different deck heights

Don't listen to this guy, he doesn't know what he's talking about!

The B17 is the same as a b16A. It's just a stroked B16, but the block and head are exactly the same. Use a B16 header.

easy with the "dont know what your talking about" accusations. i have seen some b16 headers not fit b17's... no lies. thats why i said gsr just to be safe

You can use the longer B18 headers if you want, but they will hang down further, and give you less ground clearance

True b16 and b17 are identical, the difference in the b17 is the piston/rods/crank,thats where the .1 liters come in play.

will the gsr or itr header hit the b16 oil pan if I were to use it on a b16? or would it hug onto the oil pan? or will it have too much space in between the oil pan meaning less ground clearance?

People get so confused when GSR comes up. The B17 gsr being like a B16 will fit any b series header. If You use the newer style P72 gsr header like one found on 94+ models, it will fit, but hang low, farther from the oil pan, there won't be any issue there.

I've seen b16 header fit b18's with no problem. The only difference I've seen is the length where the cat is.

Some B16 headers hang down further and will still clear the oil pan on a B18
