Default stereo relocation?

A buddy of mine had his stereo mounted down by his cup holder instead of in the climate controls. His car was a 96 dx and i have an EM1 so it shouldnt be that different. This was about 5 years ago and he doesnt remember where he got the kit from. Does anyone know where to get something like this?

If the em1 is like a 99 dx that I have you could just bolt it down to the tray or the sides of the big pocket behind the cupholder right but if anyone can find a kit let me know

Like everyone else has said, I believe you just throw it in behind the cupholder.

Try to get a 96-98 civic cup holder, due to that year the cup holder and the pocket are not one peice unlike the 99-00 models. Check this thread this guy have a picture of 96-98 cup holder.

true they are two peices, and you can hide all the wires perfect right behind the deck/ console. Just make sure you get a good cup holder, mine the cup holder lid dosnt stay shut so it always blocks the cd deck, but it still holds the oem tape deck
