can you run these on the street? are they reliable for daily driving?

wtf are you talking about. A velocity stack is a velocity stack. The material makes no difference. It doesn't move. It doesn't rub against anything. And I would like to know why you believe it would make more power.

i was actually asking becuase seeing them in lips car at the track and wondering if they were actually able to be used on the street after seeing that mtv joint?

I would want to say that a filter can be fitted to the ITB's.

Someone must make somehting that will fit. Even if they are seperate filters for each stack.

Those ITG filters are designed for ITBs or twin carbs etc, some will only fit the carbs they are designed for i.e. Webber side draught. But most manufactures will make a model with a blank bottom plate that you can have cut for the tops of the ITBs you have. ITG (as do other companies) also make a CF box that fits over the ITBs and then runs down a tube to a filter like a standard set-up. In the end it depends what ITBs you get (I have seen some for the B series that basically have the same "footprint" as the DCOE Webber side draught carbs that a lot of people use)

.....you CAN run filters on them. Little sock things or some kind of sheetmetal enclosures that go to a filter on a stick.....
