saw this in my engine bay, its pulling vacuum but it does not affect how my car is running at all.



the red is the vacuume thing

the green is what is flopping around my bay (like it should be mounted somewhere?)

the blue thing is just a vacume line i just saw haha :/

 

idk what to tell u, but the best thing i can think of is for you to get ahold of the guy who had your car before u or the guy who built your car

 

I believe it's called a purge solonoid, or something to that effect. It we mounted next to your map sensor on the fire wall.

 

lol ive had the car for 5 years, its my beater. you dont even wanna see the rest of the car hahaha. anyway the guy who built my car lives in japan




crx you know what hose should go over that nipple on it? anyone else?

 

blue is supposed to be that way, its for the MAP sensor
Red is the Purge solenoid
Green is what mounts the Purge solenoid to the firewall.

might wanna fix those, gets annoying hearing it bang around in the engine bay

 

hmm well i didnt see where it mounted but im sure i can figure it out my main thing is the nipple on the "purge solenoid" is pulling vacuume so it seems there should be a hose connected to it am i missing something?
