Default radiator core support swap (t bar) swap

Just curious... If the top part of the core support is damaged and that's it.. Can it be replaced instead of the whole entire radiator support? I've searched and this was the closest I could find..

this is a pic of an EF "t bar" but i'm wondering about an EG or Del Sol "t bar"... I know if it's possible that it's got to be drilled out and it's not a bolt in affair like the EF.. Can this piece be bought on it's own? TIA

Shane

Wondering about this too, is it welded onto the chassis or just bolted to the top and the bottom end of the core?

its spot welded drill out the spot welds remove weld on new one not that hard you people need to take some initiative and try things on your own

Kind of thought so... Yeah let me just jump into some project without doing a little research.. It's called common sense! If it's never been done before then sure I'll jump into it and learn as I go but since it HAS been done, I'll do my research first. Thanks!

What projects have you done without doing any research at all?
