I was wondering if anyone of you would know if the JDM s2000 key has the transponder in it for the immobilizer.

No it does not. Guys have been known to take the key apart and put one in though.

 

looks cool, my stock key is all beat up now.

 

Yeah it looks really cool, but no immo chip sucks.

It says it all, no good for us except if you bypass the immo wich might be a good idea if you want your car to get stolen.

I'd like to find a key with immo chip inside that is nicer than the black key from Accord/Prelude/early S2000.

Do you know in what material is made the center of the key ? Is in in brushed aluminium ?

 

Do you mean the outside parts or what is in the middle of the two metal parts?

 

You answered my question I was talking about the two parts that you confirmed were made in metal.

Do you know what's inside the two metal parts ? Is it a hole or you have to cut some plastic so you can add the immo chip ?

I wonder how i'm gonna take apart the chip from the original key.

Do you think it is possible to buy only the chip ? Not from Honda they don't sell it, but maybe the company that produce it have revendor.
