my rpm on my crx si dosnt work???but ONLY sometime it jump up n down but dosnt stay working..but mostly it dont work....im not sure what wong so ill need ur help asap or some info on it..my 1st crs i had... (just the rpm dont work...everything works fine.)

check the wiring on the distributor. i had one of the wires on my distributor plug rip off and caused it to not function properly.

dizzy problem. replace with a known good dizzy should fix the problem. i had the sam problem several years ago. went through 3 clusters, finally changed the dizzy and it fixed my problem.

 

i guess ill try it but dont wanna waste any cash if irs not that too...but ill try..

I have a similar problem but my RPM gauge actually works on low RPM. The problem is that the RPM jumps up and down after 4000 RPM, so I only notice it on the freeway.

And yes every thing else on the cluster works.

One of my friend told me that it's the wiring on the cluster and I had no time to check that.
