My rear bumper got hit by some F250 at Pep Boys. The persons insurance covered the damage when I got it done at my local paint shop. The paint didn't exactly match, so they offered me a great deal on redoing the whole car.

I got it done in Absolutely Red from Toyota. The pictures don't really show the true color, but they are pretty close!








Took these today.. Nothing special just a point & shoot. Judge the car though!!

colour suits the car

but the in the first pic it looks like the paint is "orange peel"

 

 

That was the first thing I noticed in the first pic the finish should look like glass but it looks good overall.

 

did they color sand it ? lots of orange peel but from far away looks great bro nice and clean

why the gaping whole in the front bumper? paint looks nice.

 

With the vents being painted, maybe he thought it would be easier/cheaper just to cut the whole grill out??

Honest question though - is this a Maaco job?

 

Grilles need to be painted black but overall not bad. Looks like it needs to be colorsanded and buffed.

 

Those center caps look silly.

They dont. Looks much better in real life. All I have to take pics is a refurb Olympus cam lol.
Previous owner cut it out for some odd reason.
No where near OEM. Type R Style, I like these better for some reason.





Anyways, not a Maaco job. Yes, it will be sanded and buffed but the paint is still fresh. I have to let it cure.

Damn, I cant believe a shop would let something like that roll out. You don't have to wait very long to wetsand and buff the car. I would take that $hit back and get them to respray it.
