i just did an h22 motor swap in my 92 prelude. it will not rev over 4 grand any one kno why this could be

 

Any Check engine lights?
Whats happening? Like fuel cut out?

 

which ECU are you using?

 

somethings seems completely out of whack. Even the wrong ECU wouldn't cause a 4k cutoff? p13/p14 should at least take it to about 6k even if you were in 'limp mode'

Possibly the TPS being completely set wrong? I know that can throw everything off

 

check the map sensor and deff get a new ecu make sure you got right distributor also

 

check and see if the TPS and the EGR valve pigtails aren't switched. I swapped those two and it wouldn't rev past 35 so that could be your problem.
