Recaro seats fit on my LS rails...yes or no?
Straight to the point. I have a 98 GS, im looking to buy a pair of Reacro SRD's without the rails. Would these mount up to my rails. I heard only 3 bolts will mount. Need to know asap. Thank you.
P.S. I hate this new V-bulletin crap!

the three bolts your talking about are more than likely the bolts that hold the rail to the floor.

The bottom of the Recaro and the bottom of the Integra seat is completely different, meaning the rails are completely incompatible.
The 'three bolts' thing you're thinking of is probably when you try to swap CTR seats into an Integra, or ITR seats into an EK. So, you have the choice if you want to use Civic or Integra rails, they'll both fit, but you'll get three bolts if you use Civic rails...
Just do the right thing and pick up DC2 rails, it'll be painless and everything will work guaranteed.

This is where i kinda get confused. You noted "pick up DC2 rails". I have a DC2 (well DC4 since its a LS), are you meaning DC2 as in DC2 Recaro rails? Sorry im new to this whole trying to make Recaros fit in a Integra deal, and just wanting a little more information on this topic for future reference.
MemoryFab makes a set of aftermarket rails also and they are very nice! Puts you on the chassis floor basically. I have them in my EJ1 and I like them.
Also, here's a picture of why it's bad to bolt your seats down with only 3 bolts. This is what can happen if you only have 3 bolts on your seats. Make sure you get the correct rails. (my friend's car, btw.)

what the hell is going on in that pic bluebomber? If you put EG/DC seats into an EK or vice versa, the bolts will work like this (driver side):
O O
O X
Where the X is the one you can't bolt in. The seat will sit fine but the bolt hole is an inch shifted so it just sits there. In other words, the 3 bolt scenario is fine. Something was really wrong with what you were doing...

I've installed/sat in/driven an EK hatch with DC2 ITR seats, and even with three bolts there was no play at all, no looseness in the seat.
However, as I said before, ideally you want to just get the proper Integra rails for all four bolts though.
The rails were tweaked ever so slightly where one front bolt on each seat would not line up correctly. He got into a wreck and the seat twisted big time (as you can see) because there were only 3 bolts to hold it down.

The right rear bolt on the driver's seat is the most important, because it sees the largest forces from the seat belt buckle in a collision.
If you want to halfiass safety equipment in your own car, that's great. Telling others to do so isn't particularly smart.
It's not fine.
