Someone do me a favor I need a good laugh, what's it cost for Spoon Certs?
I see people now can get Spoon certification? Someone please tell me it doesn't cost any more than $25.00 for that.
LOL, no seriously I never knew this was going and I know it's probably not cheap. I have to give Spoon props for bilking every penny possible from the fanboys lol

There is a sticker guy in the mall. I can get one for ten bucks. All engraved on a slab of aluminum.

just noticed that is screwed on not riveted on like VIN plates are, dunno, that seemed interesting to me
Okay. I just got Spoon Certified. But I got it for free. I went to South Coast Acura and the guy from Opak was there and he started telling me that it depended on how your car looked and not on how many Spoon parts it had. He also told me that it helps with the insurance company to pay for everything that you have on your car if the unimaginable happens. So I did it and sure enough I took my Certification to the insurance company and my Civic is now worth 18k. That sounds good to me. I just did it for the insurance. Makes me feel better now if I drive my car on the street now. He also said that I was the first Bar'd Spoon Certified EG.........

I thought you have to have a certain amount of Spoon products and then you send them your mod list along with pictures of your car and if they approve, You can then be certified? That's what i heard so don't quote me..
EDIT - just seen the post like 2-3 up...

You still have to be recommended. I talked with Edmun today at Opak, and he explained the process. It's for "Spoon Sports" enthusiasts to keep up to date with new products, prior to release. It's great for insurance claims, and helps recoup monies that would normally not be paid by insurance companies. It's $65, and comes with some exclusive goodies besides the little fancy "numbered plate". I don't see the reason for the hate. You either want to become certified or you don't. No need to sweat what someone else pays for it.
i had my old ek spoon certified not to impress anyone either. i like how the badge looks and would much rather have that badge than a dc2R jdm badge on a usdm gsr badge like i have seen on here countless times.
