best d series motor for my ef
what would be the best d series motor for my ef i would like to boost, also i would search i know u say this is already covered but the search thing blows bad so any help i appreciated preferably from tigerjapanese thanks, pick the best from there lol
you have the d16y8, which is a decent motor ... d16z6, d15b vtec which i prefer (i have that motor in my eg with 3 stage vtec its bad ***) i beat a gsr 4door with it lol
other then that... im doing a b16a2 in my hatch, since i blew up my 1300$ ls block a few days ago...

Each motor has its advantages and disadvantages. Depending on what you want to achieve with the engine depends on which engine to get. If you want to keep it simple and just do a stock swap without huge plans to modify it, a DOHC ZC swap is a good candidate, Next on the list in the d16Z6 and the D15b. Both engines are OBD1 and will adapt to your chassis easier then the OBD2 D16Y8.
i recomend the jdm d15b vtec like the ther guys,it pulls pretty nice in my my hatch with just i/h/e and a magnaflow catalytic converter,it has pretty good hp through all rpms but im sure if you mix and match some d series engines,it will be faster..and then you want to boost...... it will be a "one cammer jammer" lol i saw that on a sticker
i vote for either the dohc zc, d16a6 with a delta 272 cam, or d15b vtec, all of course with i/h/e to bump the power up more over stock. those are the only engines i would truely run if my car didnt have the stock engine still.......
