so i just rebuilt this motor its a d16a6 with a z6 head (i blew up the z6.. long story) got it running good except for the fact that it keeps
revving from about 1.5 to 2.5 rpms while idling. what is causing this?
also when i give it a lot of gas its stumbles (i think the injectors are too big..and i don't know what size they are) and tonight it popped and sounded and ran like ****. then i pulled over and shut it off popped the hood everything looked fine and everything was connected except my o2 sensor fell out(it was hand tight to begin with) so i put it back in and tried to start the car but nothing happened all my dash lights work like they should when you turn the key. i haven't tried to do anything because its dark and i don't have any lights. but i would like some suggestions on what it could possibly be. so if anyone could help i would appreciate it.

 

The timing belt may have slipped so check the mechanical timing.

For the idle problem, I'd start by cleaning the FITV on the throttle body.

i dont have a timing cover how do i line up the bottom pully

 

it was a bad ground to the transmission again timing was good.
but i broke the bolts to take apart the fitv
