hey guys im new to all this stuff... and i love both the itr and the type s

help me pick ...
hows stock to stock power
what are the ups and downs..
give me any input you can to lean me towards one than the other

if the itr is going to be your only car, then get the type s. if you have another car, then you can keep the ITR around as a weekend car. wouldn't DD an ITR due to the EXTREMELY high theft rates.

 

i have a DD.. i just cant pick iv always had an itch for an CW itr

 

if you can keep the ITR garaged, then i would say it would be fairly safe if you just wanted the ITR as a weekend warrior. just be cautious with where you drive it.

 

If you can deal with the ITR's high theft rates then go for it. The itr is definately a better performing and fun car in every aspect over the typeS.

well in my opinion if its not a daily driven car then go with a itr. but as far as the theft rate goes, i give it another 2 years before the type-s will be the new itr in a thieves eyes. K series are very popular and expensive so they go fast for a street price. As far as comparing the two cars well the itr was designed for track use. the type-s doesnt handle anywhere near as good as a itr stock for stock, But when setup properly the type s will handle just as good if not better then a setup itr. The motors in the type-s blows the itr away. A K series is everything that a B series lacked plus more. There is my 2 cents on it, hope that helps

I'de go with the K over the B anyday....But a Type Arrrr is still a pretty cool car to own...But again..theft rate is high...

 

like everyone said. only the itr if you're going to treat it as a weekend car, garage it, and get a good alarm system on it.
