Icon4 body kit, jdm or none?

EDITED

i am planning on doing some body mods and and pretty sure i will go with the R33 front and maybe sides but for the rear probably do a lip kit like the second pic.

I was looking around at other rides styles and that got me thinking on what other peoples think looks best for a 5th gen Accord

here is some pics of the kit i am thinking of, although i think i will probably do a more subtle rear like a lip kit at the bottom

front sides

rear

The front bumper isnt the worst thing iver ever seen and i absolutly agree with dropping those sidskirts and that back bumper. I am personally a fan of lip kits but hey do what you like. Dont let other peoples oppinions hold you back from doing what you want to do, its your car!! Just because the JDM look is the hot thing right now, dont feel obligated to change your car to make other people happy unless you like it too. I say do what you like the best and f*ck the haters

don't get me wrong i could care less what is in fashion or not. i just like how the JDM stuff leaves a clean looks to it. like i said i want to do the R33 kit and am hesitant but that just mean i might do a little mix and match that's all. i have plenty of time to do it. won't be till around late spring before i order everything so i have plenty of time to "pick" my perfect kit.

My only complaint about hondas (no offense to anyone) is if you do something nice seems like everyone runs out to copy you. at least where i live that is

Its your money, you shouldn't care what people think. If you take people opinion to the heart, maybe they should be modding your car.

leave the exterior stock man. Suspension and maybe some wheels, and be happy with that. Everyone always feels the need to add accessories to there car, and it ends up looking like pooh.

well planned on the wheels no matter what. but as far as lowering it not really sure... LOL which if you know me than you laugh at that statement. i have owned many lowered cars and come winter they where a snow plow at this point of my life i am not really feeling it. of course come summer who knows LOL. but to real this car is and going to be my daily driver for at least the next 2 years and i don't want to do any mod that can cause me more bills down the road. otherwise i would plan on going crazy with the motor. but to be real i am not rich and need to make sure i have a dependable way to and from work... until i hit the lotto than I'll go buck wild!!!!

I say grab a lip kit and side skirts. Do whatever your taste is though, it's your car.

I'm not really sure what the point of this thread is... if you already know what you are going to do and regardless of other opinions are going to still do it, then whats the point?

someone gave you their opinion earlier and you said "you didn't want people to tell you what you should do you just want opinions" ??? that doesn't make sense.

it seems to me that all you want to know is how people think about the one single way you plan on going with your car. and if that is the case then this thread should have been started differently. The poll should have been two options, either they like it or they dont. And the opening thread should have had you plans.

I'm in for another option in your poll

• Do what you want

Because who gives a fly'n F#@k what other people think. Unless your one of those materialistic/plastic types. Or it I guess it probably matters if your planning on putting your car into a judged car show.... I'm never going to be there myself. I'm in the DGAF group.

Take a look at the hood I'm using in my build....does that thing look like I care what people think about the looks of my car. I've had people call it rice and ugly. That's there opinion.... I'm see it as a functional part of my car.

well i guess i should have worded my initial post better. i have not been asking on what i should do just thought i ask and see what other people opinion is just for the sake of conversation. i have not in 1 post asked "what do you think i should do?"

so i apologize if it seem like i am getting bent on it but like stated never asked what i should do just what do you think looks best?

to simplify i will edit my original post

well by definition to be rice it would have to be completely non functional with the pretense that it suppose to help. your hood actually has a purpose

by the way nice build 2 thumbs up

With my accord, besides the suspension and wheels, most of the parts it took to get it to how it is right now are basically OEM Acura & Honda parts, some JDM and then a few aftermarket parts for my all motor setup.
