so now my car looks like a bass boat...HELP
Ok im coming to the realization that I bought probably the cheapest paint known to man, and spent 200$ for it as well.
Anyhow, I sprayed down the base, its a light metallic grey. After doing so I sprayed down 4 coats of clear. Let me tell ya, the car has a matte finish, like that of a bass boat. It is basically all sparkle, no shine. If you run your reflection over it, all you see is your shadow.
Only thing I can possibly think of is the product being super cheap (Wanda paints) or the tip on my gun (1.0 tip) but it sure seems like its laying down real nice.
Can someone help me out with this problem?

1.0 is hella tiny of a tip for a complete, for a small blend its fine. You're probably getting hella orange peel or dry spray. Do like dude said and open up the fluid tip and spray it on wet.

the directions say I can use a .08-1.0 tip if Im using a HVLP gun. What I dont understand is the baking time...Can I just leave the car in the garage if its near 70 degrees outside?
Also, Ive been spraying dang near 4-5 coats. guess I need to limit it to 2 coats, oops.
And for some odd reason my 1.4 tip is throwing material everywhere, not sure what the problem is with it.. With the 1.0 tip I may try getting a little closer and see if that helps.
Gravity HVLP
HVLP max 10 psi at the air cap
HVLP Pressure Feed
0.8−1.0 mm
Check gun manufacturer specification.
Blue is what you should be using,, Red is what you are using.. Try out the first one and i bet your results will be 10 times better.. Remember, which i am sure you already know, make sure you read the directions thouroughly before laying any paint or clear.
