how does one fix a misfire?? i checked the spark plug and it looked brand new. i'm stuck, please help.

Well swap the #1 coil with any other cylinder and see if the misfire changes to that cylinder. Cheap coil test.

since my last post, i replaced the "bad" coil with a brand new replacement from honda. i still have a CEL (cylinder 1 misfire)..

i replaced all the spark plugs and all the coils for safe measure and still a CEL.

i even reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes and after driving around in the subdivision i still get a CEL.

all i have are i/h/e for mods..

i bought the car brand new so i'm the only owner. my 99 DB8 GSR never had such silly issues. please help
