Default Need a shop or someone....

Does anyone know of a decent shop/person that will work on modified cars?

I recently bought a 94 Delsol VTEC model. The previous owner swapped the bottom end with a b18b for the LS/VTEC and put a JRSC on it.

The car sat for 10-11 months prior to me purchasing it, I have done the basics (plugs/new gas/distributor/rotor/oil/fuel filter etc) but it still runs really rough and idles about 1200rpm.

I was hoping to find a shop/person that can help with diagnosing/fixing whats wrong. Most tuner shops will only tune the car once its running right.

p.s. I am in Orlando/Daytona FL

The IACV is fine, already checked it. The car just sits at 1200rpm and doesnt go below when idling. What i meant by rough idling is that it sounds like it might be knocking.

Yea, I was just hoping that someone knew of a reputable shop that would look at it.
Pretty much the answer I have gotten around town is;
Mechanic shop = it's modified so they won't touch it
Tuner shop = it's not running right so they won't touch it.

it's like the ugly stepchild.

I took it to CFT, they charged me $100 to do the compression/leak test. Came back with one of the cylinders has a 40% leak. Now they want to charge $600 to pull the head and look at it.
