Hi Guys,
I've been told that my A/C isnt working because of a bad A/C Switch in dash of my 97 del sol. Anyone have experience that can tell me what this thing looks like and how to locate it?
Summer in Texas is upon us, and I want to fix this soon!
Any diagrams or anything will be of help, and if you know your way around the AC circuit can you tell me what all I need to have in check? (ex: other fuses, switches, etc)
I'm not really very good at cars so I come here when my car has problems. I can't really offer too much in the way of help myself, but if you need any graphics done up or logos, I'm your man!

The soldered joints in the climate control unit are suspect. See http://honda.lioness.googlepages.com/airconditioning

Thanks! I found a diagram on BK linked from that site of the parts inside the dash that I'm going to reference.
I'll let you know if I figure it out! Hope I don't have to do any soldering work, I'm awful with an iron!

I will take your "awful with an iron" and raise you an "I am terrible with one." Yet my solder jobs seem to hold. Maybe not as long as a pro's, but so far so good. I suggest: Just do it. I think one does get better with time. Also I think the de-soldering tool I mention is a big aid to better soldering. It is well worth the $11 or so. I would say becoming really proficient at testing circuit boards with a multi-meter is a bigger hurdle than becoming an adequate solderer.
