What do i gotta do to make it run !!!!!!!!!!
i got a 92 prelude si with a blown h23 and i got a f22b vtech for free so i am outting it in the prelude but using the h23 harness and ecu...what do i have to do to make it run with this or do i need to switch the harness and ecu or what some1 please help me i want my prelude back on the road
I didn't know that VTECH made a new phone. Is the F22B line-up a European model or can I source it out here in the states ? Are you trying to install this phone in your car ?, that would be nice, What frequency does it operate on ?
i have the exact same setup...u can use the factory harness on the p14. it will run but without vtec.
i am currently running a p13 (h22) ecu to use vtec at 5200...not the best setup but the p13 was free.
still trying to figure out if I can use a P0A in the prelude with the stock harness. being the correct f22b1 ecu

anyways IndecentXxXposur try starting the car on the p14 first
i will try that though..see the car will only run if i spray gas in it myself like the injectors aren't workin or something i dunno what it is...there are alot of plugs on the h23 wirin harness that are not plugged in and there is a plug that looks to be coming off where the injectors are and it isn't plugged up and i can't find nothing to plug 2..i still have the h23 e c u in it also...i will try to find out the correct name of the plug im talking about but the guy helping me wuz askin me if i knew the ohms of the plug so once i found out do you think there would be a way to by pass it if there is nothing for this certain plug to plug in to

The point he was making (that you obviously missed) is that Vtech is a telephone company. The acronym you want is VTEC. Adding an H offends some people.
OP is going to want to run what ever ECU goes with the F22b. The wire harnesses for all OBD1 motors, plug in the same.
well kill me now i mistakenly put an h there on the end of that...the point is it wuz understood what i meant so thats all i really care about i guess and guess what VTECH
but anyways. the harness should work IIRC. Also, i would recommend to not use the h23 ecu it can have long term affects on ur car. Its ok for maybe a day or so but i would never run the wrong ecu on my car.
Firefox web browser has a spell checking extension built into the right click on the mouse. Its a very cool extension, and you can sound smart as hell because everything you type is spelled right.
if you're going to call someone a dumb ***, it would be best to make sense and spell things right and not use double negatives.

i'm sure running h22 base maps on a f22 isnt helping my motor internally but 80000km later and i still runs strong. only take it past 5200 maybe once a week

running the p14 on the f22 sucks cuz once you past 4500 rpm the motor severly loses power since the motor is designed for vtec in that range but it will not activate...p13 elimanates this problem atlisse till you hit 5200
my god i didn't know i wuz back in english class again...look i failed it and im a happy guy without it so its all good...plus i gurantee that every1 on this site does the same exact thing either typing it or saying it....but who cares right cuz this is for cars and help not speeling bees and grammar classes....but thanks for the info man
